THE PROJECT

A pharaonic project		 Això en català se'n diu porc senglarThe Fourth Ring Road or Orbital Dual Carriageway is a motorway project that sets out to traverse the regions of Penedès, Baix Llobregat, Vallès Occidental and Vallès Oriental. The envisaged route, parallel to the existing motorway A-7, cuts through agricultural and wooded terrain close to the Natural Parks of Sant Llorenç del Munt-Serra de l'Obac, Montseny and Montnegre-Corredor.

The opposition that this project has provoked started in Sabadell in 1991 and at present includes more than 250 organizations and associations -residents, ecologists, ramblers, students, social, etc.
