The Campaign against the Quart Cinturó

The Campaign against the Quart Cinturó consists of more than 250 neighbourhood, cultural and ecologist groups from Vallès Occidental, Vallès Oriental, Baix Llobregat and Penedès, with the aim of working to stop the construction of this road.

What do we want

FROM THE MINISTERIO DE FOMENTO AND THE GOVERNMENT OF THE GENERALITAT OF CATALONIA:

1. The complete withdraw of the Quart Cinturo project from the infrastructure directory Plan 1993-2007 and the Catalonia roads Plan.
2. The carrying out of a thorough technical study of the possible environmentally sustainable alternatives.
3. A substancial revision of the General Territorial Plan for Catalonia.

FROM LOCAL TOWN COUNCILS:

That they take up an official position favouring the withdrawl of the Quart Cinturó project and the carrying out of a thorough, technical study of the environmentally sustainable alternatives.

FROM YOU:

That you take up a stance against the irrationality of the present transport and land useage model and "get moving" against the Quart Cinturó and General Territorial Plan for Catalonia .
